The SH Team defended a rideshare driver in a major rear-end freeway auto accident, in which Plaintiff was a passenger. The case involved admitted liability and indisputable significant injuries sustained by Plaintiff, including TBI and various facial, skull, orbital, and hip fractures. Plaintiff issued a pre-trial CCP section 998 offer to compromise for $13 Million. After a 3-week jury trial, Plaintiff asked the jury to award over $21 Million in damages.

The jury returned a verdict of $4.67 M, which is millions below Plaintiff’s lowest settlement demand.
