Victory for the Defense
Our POWERHOUSE all-female defense team defended an admitted liability auto versus bicycle accident case through verdict. Plaintiff asked for over $8 million in damages, claiming traumatic brain injury, among other things. The jury returned a defense favorable verdict of only $900,000. The defense beat their re-trial Code of Civil Procedure section 998 offer to compromise.
