Biography

Shaelyn Carroll is an Associate of Schonbuch Hallissy LLP, where she represents individuals, businesses, and insurers in civil litigation matters throughout California. Her practice includes a wide array of matters including general negligence, automobile liability, catastrophic injury claims involving alleged traumatic brain injuries and spinal injuries, wrongful death, defamation, products liability, premises liability, construction-related claims, business litigation, real estate litigation, assault and battery, and general liability.

Shaelyn takes a thoughtful, detail-oriented, and hands-on approach to litigation. She is involved in all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, law and motion practice, dispositive motions, settlement strategy, and trial. Shaelyn understands the stress and uncertainty that litigation can create for clients, and she is committed to providing practical guidance, careful preparation, and strong advocacy at every stage of the case.

Originally from Modesto, California, Shaelyn brings a strong work ethic and grounded perspective to her statewide defense practice. Before joining Schonbuch Hallissy LLP, Shaelyn served as a law clerk with the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office, where she assisted with a successful double-homicide trial from jury selection through conviction.
