Biography

Mary Fersch is a founding partner of Schonbuch Hallissy LLP, and heads the Orange County office. Mary is a trial attorney whose practice is focused primarily on general negligence, commercial transportation, products liability, premises liability, and mass torts. Mary also handles matters involving contracts, real estate disputes, and business litigation.

Mary takes a hands-on approach to her cases, familiarizing herself with every case detail and personally strategizing each lawsuit, putting her clients in a position to achieve the best results possible. She has developed meticulous litigation skills and prides herself in outlawyering the other side. Mary’s case load is comprised of high value cases, excess exposure cases, and cases involving catastrophic injuries and damages claims, as well as garden variety negligence cases.

Mary dedicates her time to bar activities through her service with several bar associations. Mary is a Director for the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel’s (ASCDC) Board of Directors and serves as the Chair of the Women in the Law Committee, among other committees. She is the ASCDC liaison to the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s (LACBA) Litigation Section Executive Committee and serves on several subcommittees for LACBA’s President’s Advisory Committee for Women in the Legal Profession.
