
Lisa lives in south Orange County with her husband. In her free time, you can find Lisa on the pickleball court, trying a new workout class, or taking a walk on the beach. Lisa loves cheering on her two favorite sports teams, the Anaheim Angels and the Washington Commanders.

Biography
Lisa is a seasoned trial attorney who has been practicing civil litigation since 1993. Lisa has tried many jury trials to verdict and thrives in the courtroom. Lisa’s practice includes all aspects of civil defense litigation with an emphasis on liability including but not limited to wrongful death cases, catastrophic personal injury, property damage, product liability and public entity defense. Lisa has developed a detailed and unique approach to handling cases that involves tailoring the defense strategy on each case that results in the ability to provide cost-effective and efficient representation for the client.
Prior to joining Schonbuch Hallissy LLP, Lisa was a founding partner in the law firm Bassett, Discoe, McMains & Kargozar for 25 years. Lisa has been a proud member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) since 2014, Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute and the Orange County Bar Association. Lisa previously served as a board member for the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel (ASCDC) for many years.
