Biography

Andrea Lee is a Law Clerk at Schonbuch Hallissy LLP. She was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico. She then moved to the United States to attend Boston University, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a minor in Economics.

Andrea pursued her legal education at LMU Loyola Law School. While in law school, she was involved on campus as the Secretary of the Loyola Latinx Student Association and a Student Ambassador for the admissions office. She was a Staffer on Loyola’s International and Comparative Law Review and then served as a Research Editor on the journal. Andrea also participated in Loyola’s Immigrant Justice Clinic, where she had the opportunity to represent a client in Probate Court and successfully obtained her client’s Special Immigrant Juvenile Status finding.

Andrea obtained a mediation certificate through her participation in the Conciliation and Mediation Clinic at the Loyola Center for Conflict Resolution. Through her involvement in the clinic, Andrea was awarded the Pearl Castro Mendez Scholarship award. Andrea served as a Law Clerk with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office in the Family Violence division and as a Law Clerk with Daniels, Fine, Israel, Schonbuch & Lebovits LLP.
