Schonbuch Hallissy LLP is hiring lateral associates to accommodate its growing civil defense practice!
These are hybrid positions for our Los Angeles, Orange County or Ventura County office.
Schonbuch Hallissy LLP is a dynamic civil defense firm helmed by experienced trial lawyers who have worked together for decades. The firm has a diversified litigation practice, including in the areas of complex litigation, premises liability, products liability, catastrophic personal injury, business disputes, copyright and trademark disputes, employment, harassment and defamation, construction defects, construction accidents, insurance coverage, and appellate law, among other practice areas.
To accommodate it is growing practice, the firm is seeking to hire lateral associates with at least 3 years of civil defense experience, including working up cases for trial or mediation, taking and defending depositions, drafting motions and evaluations, and handling all aspects of discovery. Associates are valued members of a practice group, are mentored directly by partners, will have direct client contact, and the opportunity to argue motions in court and try cases with a partner. Salary: Commensurate with experience, $140,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year

Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of civil defense experience
- California admitted attorney in good standing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
