Bernard Schwartz is a civil litigator at Schonbuch Hallisy LLP, bringing a wealth of experience and a results-driven approach to every case. A graduate of Stanford Law School (J.D., 2000), Bernard began his legal career with a unique opportunity—serving as Second Chair in a high-profile murder trial, an experience that shaped his passion for litigation. He then refined his skills at Debevoise & Plimpton, handling high-stakes legal matters until 2003.
Driven by a creative spirit, Bernard then transitioned to a successful career in film and video production, producing and directing award-winning short films and founding a boutique virtual reality production company where he worked with high-profile clients including CBS, Toyota of California, Banana Republic, and Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
Following the pandemic, Bernard returned to the legal profession, where he managed a diverse caseload with a strong focus on §1983 civil rights litigation, alongside work in entertainment law and personal injury matters.
